Bee Birthday Card

 This is one of my favourite stamps and one of my most popular cards at craft events. The wings are stamped on acetate and therefore pop up and move.

Black and White Cats

 Nice little cat stamp that I’ve had for many years and time to it move on. So I’m stamping this one for the very last time. I don’t feel sad about as I know somebody else will enjoy owning it, so it’s off to the charity shop on Thursday.

 When I go to the beach I’m always looking for beach treasures and collecting old bits of plastic etc. 

For this card the sea glass was collected last year from Combe Martin in Devon. I’ve hand drawn the glasses.

It’s a Girl

 Another stamp destined for the charity shop but having one last stamp up with it. It’s called Bunny Bath and to be honest this is the first and last time it will be used. It’s been stuck in the back of the drawer for many years and doesn’t appear to have ever been used, in fact I can’t ever remember using it. Cute though but needs a new home.

April Showers

 Here’s a little card created this afternoon. It’s an old Whiff of Joy and again I’ve not used this stamp for many years.

I’ve been having a huge craft room clear out, which the local charity shop have enjoyed. I think it’s time to move on some of these and I’m having a last stamp with them before they go off to a new home.

Playful Cat

 I made this little card today.

It’s a very old Penny Black wooden stamp which I used Promarkers to colour. I created the background by smudging ink to create the sky and grass then added various Lavinia foliage stamps.

Four Legged Friends Challenge

 I spotted two challenges, at Dream Valley Challenge and Unicorn Challenge and realised I’ve got just the right card.

I love the colour combination which was created using a gel plate. I love not knowing how the backgrounds will turn out. I’ve used two Lavinia stamps for the four legged friends.

Magical Crows

 I love these crows by Lavinia stamps. They look so mischievous.

To make this card, I created a background using a gel plate on which I used a brayer to spread my Elements ink, and splattered some watered down Brusho’s.

It’s been sometime since writing my blog but hope to be back a bit more often soon.

Unicorn and the Hare

 I’m playing a lot with inks which I love doing. You never really now how it will turn out until all your stamping is finished. The background to this card I didn’t care much for but once all the stamping was finished it seem to improve.

All Dotty

 I’m playing catch up with everybody’s blogs and I seem to be so behind on everything.

Here’s my next card, again using House Mouse stamp which is called ‘Perfect Harmony’.

I’ve coloured this image with Promarkers, used Distress Inks for the sky. I have put glossy accents on all the berries and added a little diamond Stickles to the snow and candle. The holly leave die is from Xcut, then finished with a few gems and pearls and finally a sentiment. The background paper is from stash.

Just One Little Kiss

 It’s been sometime since I posted on my blog. I’ve been busy learning new skills during lockdown. I’ve learnt how to knit in the round and brushing up on my quilling skills. I have made lots of cards during this time and of course lots of those are Christmas themed.

I’ve been using a lot of my House Mouse Christmas stamps that I’ve collected over the years, some of them are quite old, this one I love. It’s so cute. I found a mistletoe Xcut die which suited perfectly. My favourite colour is blue for as long as I can remember, but that’s probably because somebody said it suited me and I’ve stuck with it ever since lol.
