Tillie-Belles First Little Shrug

So here is the finished project which was completed sometime ago and has since been washed and pressed into a much better shape than it looks in the photo. I don't think is shows very well but there are some flecks of silvery thread in with the yarn.

Wedding Invitations

I've had the privilege to be asked to make wedding invites for some friends. I've been busy making some samples them  to choose from before baby arrives and it has stopped me from going mad.

Here is Set One. The background paper is by Pink Petticoat. I've used computer for text matt and layered using my nesties. Finished off with silver ribbon across bottom with a lovely pearl heart slider.

Here is Set Two. Again this is Pink Petticoat papers. I've used mums die cutters to cut the text out, which was done on computer. With some silver ribbon.

Here is Set Three. This is Pink Petticoat papers. She makes such lovely background papers. This is mum die cutters again. (You can have them back now mum!) The text is done using computer. with some silver ribbon and some heart gems.

I hope you like. Michelle xx

Father's Day

I'm still here waiting for baby girl to arrive, even though I'm only a day over and know she'll arrive soon enough when she's ready. Just getting excited now and so are the boys. They ask everyday when is she coming.
So I've kept myself busy by making a couple of quick cards.

Here I've made a couple of cards for Blue ready for Sunday.

This card is from the boys as they are our cheeky monkeys. Thought the image was them to a tee especially the message on t-shirts. I used word on my computer to copy and paste to images and re sized adding the text to the bottom. The background paper is from my stash. I coloured images with pro markers and used glossy accents for eyes.

This one is from our little princess whether she's made her arrival into the big world or not. Again I used word on computer to re size and to put text into star. Coloured with pro markers and used nesties to matt and layer up.
Hope you like. Michelle xx

Graduation Owl

I saw this idea just yonks ago on youtube and kept the idea in the back of mind (like you do). I haven't saved the link..sorry but you get the idea anyway. No stamping so it's easy peasy. Just select the appropriate size circles and mount together. I used googly eyes but you can use what you wish really.

I'm going to enter this card into the following challenge:

Jubilee Celebrations

Well our jubilee weekend plans came to an end on Thursday as poor little Lucas came out in chiken pox. My poor little man is really suffering and is covered from head to toe. So we spent today crafting and baking. Mostly made by Harley as Lucas was on the sofa feeling very unwell but did join in for a bit making bunting and mixing cake mixture (he loves cooking).
Here is some bunting and paperchains we made. Paperchains are from Pink Petticoat that are being given away on her blog. The bunting we got from Cbeebies website.

Here Harley is busy making union jack flags for our cakes we made later in the day. He takes after his mummy and nanny. Loves crafting and spent all day today crafting with me and he really enjoyed himself. He done a fantasic on job.

Harley busy with glue, glitter and bits making his crown. We both covered in glitter but had great fun.
The boys cakes they made.
We finished off the day with our cakes and had a picnic party in our living room.
This could well be my last posting for a while. Only 9 days left to our little princess is due. So anytime now. I hope you like. Michelle xx

Red White & Blue Celebrations

You can feel a build up to the Diamond Jubilee celebrations this weekend and I'm looking forward to Monday where I will be at Swanage. I understand that they have sold 600 tickets and could possibly be the largest street party in the Dorset. Such organisation must be a logistic nightmare but I'm told that all kinds of organisations & volunteers have pulled together and they are even going to have the TV there! I'm just hoping the weather holds out for everybody.
Here is the card I've made tonight:

The image is from All Night Media which I have used Promarkers to colour. Added buttons, a bit of glitter and free hand cut the bunting.
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

One Stitch At A Time - Red White & Blue
