Here are some girls books I've been working on. Got a few more in my craft room waiting to be finished off. All the papers I've used are from Janette who I met and lives just down the road from me and a lady I met with mum at a table top sale some time ago now where she was selling some of her stock. All of their papers were so lovely I just couldn't resist.

Ghostly Card
After the scary skeleton card I thought I would make a bit more of a cutie 'Halloween' card. Again another stamp from Las Vegas which is a very simple outline but very sweet. I stamped the ghost image onto 300gsm white card and made a little spring out of thin wire and attached it to the back of him so he moves about. Hope you like it. Jeanette
Great Friends Together
I have terrible withdrawal symptoms tonight, as it was two weeks ago my friend and I was so excited about catching our flight the next day to go to Las Vegas. But hey I've already started saving again!! Had to go the the horrible dentist today, but thank goodness all was okay this time.
Here is another stamp that I bought in Las Vegas. This is for my friend Gloria who I don't see enough of. We worked together for 3 years a long time ago and we had such good fun.
Hope you like it. Jeanette

Skeleton Biker
Well I've been blog hopping tonight, catching up on what's happening out there. I've seen some really great Halloween cards, all so very cute, so I thought I'd go to the other end of the scale and try out my new stamp from Viva Las Vegastamp. This biker is a bit scary but I think it would be great as a birthday card for those 'serious' bikers out there. I haven't coloured the image as I didn't feel that it needed it. The background paper is a free download from 'Made About Cards' and I've just added a couple of embellishments. This is the first of the stamps I bought from VLV and hope to add some more later in the week. Hope you like it. Jeanette

Viva Las Vegas!!
We are back...sadly the time went too quickly, but what fun we had. We managed to find the stamping shop. It was just a short ride from the Sahara Hotel in a cab. I bought 51 stamps but would have loved to have bought more. There were so many great designs it was very hard to choose. My friend Linda was very good sorting out the unmounted stamps for me whilst I walked around, although I know she wasn't quite excited as me as she is not a stamper but she enjoyed the music that was being played at the time. Here are some photo's of us. I can't wait to go back again.

Boy Concertina Book
Getting more and more orders now for the concertina books, and Michelle's CD books are causing a lot of interest. Currently we have orders for 10 books in total at the moment, with more in the pipe line, so the run up to Xmas is going to be busy. I've made a start and here is one for a little boy. Hope you like it. Jeanette
'Friend' Concertina Book
I've managed to get a few books done this evening. The 'friends' book I may use to give to my friend and put our Las Vegas trip photo's in when we get back - I thought this would make a great memento, however I had discovered a rubber stamping store not far from where we are going to be staying. It's called Viva Las Vegastamps follow this link to view and you'll see why I'm so excited about finding this store. Apart from all the 1000's & 1000's of stamps there, I'm hoping there may be some scrapbooking pages that may be more topical of our trip away. Oooh I'm sooooooo excited.
Halloween Card
I bought this great stamp from Janette some time ago, it's ofcourse a Penny Black stamp and this is the first chance I've had to try it out. I'm not entirely happy with the result but I'm sure the 'girls' will like it. Jeanette

Baby Gift Bags
Here is another one of my ideas. I seem to be full of them at mo. Feeling very inspired! The idea came to me one evening. When I had both my boys most of the gifts I was given were in the gift bags you can buy and although I wanted to keep them for their memory boxes but they soon became worn unable to keep. So my idea is to make gifts bags using the Eco jute bags, embellish them with various unique designs. They can then be used forever, to store all the congrats cards, baby's first outfit etc. Or to use on a day to day basis whilst out with baby or shopping, the list is endless. I then came up with making it a gift package. The package would consist on a baby card of choice, CD book of choice and a nappy cake all in with the bag. It just so happened that two friends of mine both gave birth to little girls, so what better gift to give them. (Congrats Sarah and Congrats Paula) One bag I've embellished with weaving ribbon and tying a bow and the other I've used my sizzix to cut out prams and put button on the wheels. On the nappy cake I have made roses using a pair of mittens and socks. What do you think. Chelle x

Lucas Birthday Card
I can't believe the year has gone so quickly. Where does the time go. My little man is going to have his 1st birthday on Tuesday and I have been busy making his birthday card. Lucas loves in the night garden, Iggle Piggle is his favourite along with the Haa Hoo's (sad I know knowing all the names lol) So as you can see I've made him a night garden 1st birthday card. It was very hard to find an image I could download and use but found this one and decoupaged the characters, matted and layered it up and using my computer printed out Baby's 1st Birthday.
