New Baby

Both myself and mum had a great day out yesterday at the craft show. Both brought far too much but hey its all to fund the passion of crafting. Here is a card I've been working on the last couple of evenings. Didn't get to finish last night as I was too tired. I hope you can see it ok, I'm rubbish with the camera and the lighting in my house is not very good. This card I'm going to give to my sister in law when she has her baby. She's due 6 weeks before me, and we're both expecting girls. The image is from Pink Gems. Coloured with pro markers and used my nesties to layer up. The papers are from my stash. I've added some pink organza ribbon and some heart buttons. The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat. Next job is to make the present. I hope you like. Michelle xx
I'm entering this card into the  following challenges.

Passion For Promarkers - Babies

Here's a baby boy card I managed to create but honestly don't know how as I woke up yesterday with a very sore and slightly swollen back of the left hand. Today it has swollen so much I cant see two of my knuckles on my hand, swollen to my wrist and covered with blisters but only on the fingers. How bizarre as I've only got a few blisters on the other hand but god is it so painful. Can't bend my fingers and it is red hot. Got no bite mark and it doesn't itch. Tried NHS website and that didn't help, so maybe a trip to the doctors tomorrow. So that's my boring up date and now onto the card. At Passion For Promarkers the theme is Babies. The image is from Wood Cellar Graphics, coloured with Promarkers, and added lace, flowers, brad and a little glitter to the flowers and butterflies. Jeanette

Ooh Baby Baby

I've done a lot of baby cards recently - seems to be the season for them. The stamp I've used for this card is from Stamp 'N' Around not one that I'm familiar with but is a lovely large image and very clean lines and simple. I've used Promarkers to colour and used glossy accents on his nose. Ribbon across the bottom with a bow and used a bow button on the image with added ribbon on.

Pear Tree Challenge - Sketch

When I first looked at this challenge earlier this week I thought eek that looks hard and couldn't find the time to have a go but today I ignored all of the housework and got stuck in and found I really enjoyed doing this challenge and loved the sketch. The image is PB and called Kitty Baby and colour with water colours. The rest is from stash.

Babies Challenge

Over at I Love Promarkers the challenge this week is babies and for this challenge I have used 'Stamps Happen' Baby Bundle which I have coloured with Promarkers.

I've added ribbon and buttons from stash. I like this image because you can add the name, birth date or weight of the baby on the tag on the image. Hope you like it. Jeanette

House Mouse Blog Hop - New Beginings

There is a great blog hop at House Mouse Monday Challenge and the theme for this is 'New Beginings' and with my new granddaughter born at 7.32am on 01/01/11, I created another baby girl card. I've used a Happy Hopper image this time which I've coloured with Promarkers. Used paper and card from stash, glittered the hearts, added a bit of lace and then finally added a pram charm. Do pop along and join in as there are lots of 'hidden prizes' to be won. Jeanette

A New Year & A New Grandchild

A Happy New Year to all and what a better way to start the year with a new member to the family. Baby Evie was born this morning weighing in at 7lb 8ozs and I couldn't resist going out to buy some pink outfits!! I'm made a card to mark this occasion and also whilst blog hopping found that over a Alphabet Challenge the theme is I for Infant, at Dutch Dare Card Challenge it is New Beginings So here it is the card. The image is from Stamp Happens and is called Baby Bundle. I've used Promarkers to colour the image. Bye for now. Jeanette

Baby Kitty - Penny Black

Not long got back from aerobics, had a shower and made this quick card. It was already coloured up, so didn't take me too long to put together. I should really be making some more pages for my little books but I can't stop making cards at the moment. I've used glossy accents on the nose, paws and nappy pin and coloured with Whisper pens and a water brush. Not getting on with the Promakers at the moment, but I thinks it's because I have very limited colour range and therefore very little practise. Hope you like it. Jeanette

How Cute

Here is the cutest Penny Black stamp. I made some baby cards last night and here are a couple of them. Coloured by the whisper pens and used glossy accents to hi-light the nose and paw pads. So sweet - hope you like them. Jeanette
