Stop Monkeying Around

I recently purchased this digi image from Hambo Stamps. He is actually a gorilla and the image is called gorilla phone!  Isn't he great. I made this for a dear friend of mine whose Grandson is in America and is apparently gorilla crazy. I tried to keep everything as flat as possible because of postage.

I've coloured the image with Promarkers, sentiment was made by my pc, used 30 glittered stickers and added a yellow star.

Another Completed Knitting Project

I've managed to complete another cardi for the new baby which is now due in 5 weeks. I have knitted this one before for my granddaughter baby Evie, and it really looked lovely on her.

Well I've already started my next project which was chosen by Michelle, and the list of knitting projects is stacking up. Better get knitting!

Another Knitting Project Complete

Here is another baby cardigan finished. Phew I have hot needles at the moment as time is running out. I've purchased so many lovely patterns and yarns, recently that I just want to start them all now, but I'm keeping  it down to two to three ongoing projects.
This one is one of those baby wools that has several colours so it is random when knitted.

Can't wait to see baby Smithers wearing this.

Baby Smithers

Well it's getting closer with only 6 weeks to go and the knitting needles are clicking away. Here is a little cardigan that I've finished which is quite small but this is just in case she is around the 7lb weight. Michelle doesn't do small, her babies have been around the 9-10lb, that's boys for you but hopefully our little girl will not be as big......who knows!

Stop Horsing Around

Back last summer we went to Cornwall and I found a little craft shop that had a sale on and here at long last is one of the stamps that I have finally inked up. You know what it's like going into a craft shop, it's like going into a sweetie shop, you just have to have everything........well you need it!!!
This large wooden stamp is from Funstamps and is called Prize Pony. I bought with my niece in mind but then realised I'd bought another 'horse' stamp, so I'll use it for her birthday next year!

My Best Friend's Wedding

Finally, I've finished my word book. I'd actually done the book ages ago, I just hadn't got round to printing the photo's. Choosing them was difficult. This is a little album that I made for Michelle and Blue's wedding last year, and why my best friends wedding? Well when Michelle was living with me for awhile I took her to her best friends wedding and there she met Blue. They had gone to the same school but Michelle wasn't aware that Blue had a little secret crush on her. They left school, got job's and didn't see each other again until some years later at 'The Wedding'. And there you have it. Now they have a lovely little family with another due in 7 weeks.

Happy Birthday Taylor

It's Taylor's birthday this weekend and I'm sure he would rather be out with his mate's than with the 'old folks'!! I found this image at Pollycrafts which I thought was perfect for him. I'm used a page from one of my old maths books as background paper, how lovely that was to rip it out!! I like the fact that the school bag says Rock as he loves playing the drums and plays in a school band.

I Want To Ride My Bicycle

We had an achievement on Sunday. I got Harley's little bike out on Sunday which some weeks ago we took off the stabilisers but he hadn't had any practise because of the weather, but hey that didn't hold him back. To my sheer amazement he got on the bike and just rode off. What a clever boy. Which was how I came to remember that I had bought this LOTV stamps some weeks ago and not had the chance to use it. Lace and Pearls

Over at Fab 'n' Funky Challenge this week the theme is Lace and Pearls and as I have been in the mood for making wedding cards this fitted perfectly for a card I completed at the weekend.

The image is from bugaboo and has been coloured with ProMarkers. Background paper and card are from my stash as with the the lace and gems used. I think the sentiment is a set from Woodware. The corner die cut is from My Memory Box.

Lucas's Hand Knitted Jumper
