S.O.S - Someone Special

Using the same image again but different colour tones. I've glittered the roses, around the edge of the image, added some punched out butterflies, buttons and pearls. Card, lace and ribbon from stash.

Diamonds & Pearls

Hmmm we all love diamonds and pearls! For the following challenge I've used Sugar Nellie image called 'Bunny with Flowers'. Coloured with Promarkers and of course added diamonds and pearls. Used 3 glittered buttons and diamond Stickles around the image edge and also the sentiment which was created on my pc. DP from stash.

Yes the same image, I know, but it's such a cutie and seemed purr-fect for my next challenge. Again, this is another Mother's Day card with lovely 'spring feel' backing paper. Polka dot ribbon and a metal embellishment. Sentiment by my pc again and used diamond Stickles again.

Mother's Day Cards

I'm busy beavering away at some Mother's Day cards. This image is from Penny Black and called Butterfly Kitty, so cute. I've used Promarkers for colouring, sentiment was done by my pc, paper from stash and used diamond Stickles. Added a flower and bumble bee embellishment and used MS border punch. Finished with faux stitching around the edge.

Favourite House Mouse Stamp

Well how could you pick a favourite! - I simply love them all. Over at House Mouse Challenge you are ask to choose your favourite and that is impossible, so I've chosen this one as this is the latest one that I have made this week. I've coloured with Promarkers and added a little glitter to the poppy (not sure I like that). I hope you like it. Jeanette

Anything But A Card

I have been concentrating mostly on books the last couple of months and always on a search for a challenge which is not for cards and this week at A Spoonful of Sugar , Ladybug Craft Ink and C.R.A.F.T Challenge is just the trick! The challenge this week is 'Anything But A Card'. Perfecto!! I've made this special birthday book 50th using lovely spring colours. I've used the Funky Hands cd again, but now have finally run out of ink, so I'll be shopping around for more ink cartridges this weekend! Hope you like it. Jeanette

Thought I'd show you another concertina book which I thought would be ideal for the challenge at Moving Along With The Times which this week is 'Anything For A Girl But Not A Card' and what girl doesn't like handbags!! I love this challenge but having so many pc problems at the moment I've left this one to the very last minute (actually about 20min) so I may not be included but at least I tried. Word Books Galore

Well I've had some pc issues. Basically I messed up somewhere, so I'm waiting for the future SIL to sort out my problem although I did manage to fix one of them - thanks to Google. I'm busy making various things for 'the wedding' and frantically making some 'word' books for future craft events, so not had much time for challenges or visiting other blogs (boo hoo) but thought I would quickly post a few photos of some of the books that I've completed. I've using the 'Funky Hands' Cd's and I love them but rapidly running out of ink on the printer, Yikes! Hope you like them. Jeanette

21st Birthday Memory Book

Well I've finished the buttons holes and Michelle's wedding bouquet now. The chocolate moulds have turned up in the post so I can now think about making the chocolates for the favours, and I've ordered everything to make the guest book (photos to follow soon), so no challenges today, just a quick post to show you my 21st birthday book which I will be selling at my craft fairs this year, along with many other. The disc is from 'funky hands' and I'm so please with it I've just ordered their newly released disc (can't remember what it's called). I hope you like it. Jeanette

Moving Along With The Times

Lots of Love & Valentine's challenges this week....hmmmm I wonder why but at Moving Along With The Times the theme is Spring, oh what a cheery thought, can't wait for warmer weather! The stamped image I have used comes from a bargain hunt in charity shops. This was hiding on the floor in a basket and my beady eye spotted it! It says it's by Sonlight Crafts, not a name I have heard of before and it looks pretty old but stamps very well. I've coloured the image with Promarkers, slightly glittered the red flowers and used glossy accents on the watering can. I hope you like it. Jeanette

February Already!!

Oh my word, I can't believe how quick the time is flying by and it wont be long before the 'grand wedding' will be here. Michelle and I have so much to do, I'm panicking in case we/I run out of time. Still got to keep up the crafting, it's the only thing that keeps me sane!! So onto my next challenge which is at 2 Sisters Challenge where the theme is 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun'. I've used a PB stamp called 'Evening Glow'. I've stamp the dress area onto card and the remaining has been coloured with Whisper pens and a water brush. Added some tiny jewels to the necklace, earrings and shoes. The remaining is from stash. Hope you like it. Jeanette
