I love this image and it always makes me smile.
It’s another digi image but again I can’t remember from where. It’s not often I make men/boys cards so I thought I’d make it my mission to make some today and here is one of them. I’ve used a digi image but sadly I can’t remember where it’s from.
I’d like to enter this card into the following challenge:

This, I believe, is the first time I’ve entered into this blogs challenge. I guess I always thought it was for digi images only…..until I read the rules :).
I’m using another one of my new stamps for this challenge:

I really love my new stamps that arrived last week, and had a chance to have a play with some of them.
As the theme over at Alphabet Challenge was ‘Flying’ I thought I would one of my cards.

I hope you like it.

I’m not keen on creepy crawly creatures but I do like these two bugs. At least I know they will stay put on the card.
Over at http://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/2023/06/garden-bugs.html the theme is ‘Garden Bugs’ and this card was a perfect fit for this challenge.
Bye for now.

It’s been sometime since I’ve entered a challenge, but I’m currently preparing for an exhibition in August.
I recently required this new stamp which is gorgeous.
I’d like to enter this card into the following:

I’ve been away for a short break to recharge my batteries and I’m now ready to go again.
I was very pleased to be asked to be Guest Designer for the month of June for https://thefairyandtheunicornchallenge.blogspot.com/ where the theme is ‘Anything Goes Fantasy’.
Here is my card:
I enjoy creating fairy/elves/unicorn cards and this particular wooden stamp has been in my collection for quite some years and every now and then makes an appearance. I would say it’s quite tricky to colour the image but colour choice can be free as you like. It’s from Stamps Happen and is called ‘Falling’.
Don’t forget to pop along and join in the fun.
Jeanette
For this card I’ve used another of my favourites, Lavinia stamps. Please check them out if you love anything fairy and magical.
https://allsortschallenge.blogspot.com/2023/05/week-729.html The theme is anything goes.

My card today is stamped with a very old Penny Black wooden stamp. It’s called Good Friends, and we all need those. I’ve coloured the image with Promarkers. I’ve used two different backing patterned paper and matched some pre cut flowers with gems in the centre.
I’d like to enter this card into the following challenge:
Penny Black Saturday Challenge and the theme is ‘Anything goes with option of Pattern Papers’
Over at Passion for Markers the theme is ‘Add a Sentiment’.
For my card I’ve used a stamp from Art Impressions called ‘In the Tub’. I have coloured the image with Promarker pens, added a suitable sentiment, some gems and an embellishment. Backing paper is from my stash.
Bye for now.

Over at Stamping Sensation the theme is stencils and stamping.
For my card I used two stencils. The green stencil background is from Lavinia stamps and the orange flower background stencil was gifted to me without any makers mark. The little girl stamp is from Wildrose Studio and called Mia with Teddy. I’ve coloured the image with Promarkers, added a sentiment and layered up some pre cut paper flowers.
That’s all for now.
Jeanette
Over at the House-Mouse & Friends challenge the theme is Here Comes Summer. Finally in the UK we have had some sunshine although the wind has a slight chill to it still.
My image is from Summer Drinks JSHM013. I’ve smooshed some ink for the sky and sand but then used pencils to colour the image. I’ve added the sentiment from the same set and turned it into a sunshine. I’ve also added a few matching pearls, a little starfish and Stickles Star Dust glitter for some drink bubbles.
That’s it for now.
Jeanette
Yep, 2nd posting in one day, but when I’ve got the time, I have to cram it in.
Over at Country View Challenge for May the theme is ‘Vehicles’ http://countryviewchallenges.blogspot.com/2023/05/may-2023-vehicles.html
I for one do not make enough men cards so this was a good chance to get one completed. I stamped the image onto thick card stock and coloured it with Promarkers. Added a suitable sentiment and added a flag embellishment.
Not sure, but I could be back for another posting……who knows.
Jeanette
I’m a massive Star Wars fan, right from the very beginning and my daughter was born on May the 4th (many moons ago). Little did I know then it would become ‘a thing’, that special day Star Wars day and of course my daughters birthday.
Over at Dragonfly Dreams Challenge the theme is May The Force Be With You
Not one to miss the opportunity, I got out my digital images to create a card. I used ink pads and sponges to create a moon scape and the Death Star was painted with water colours. The images were printed on thick card stock, coloured, fussy cut and applied to the card.
Bye for now.
Jeanette
Another Christmas card! I think this image maybe from Bugaboo from many moons ago but I can’t be sure. I memory is what it used to be :)
I’ve coloured this image with Promarkers, added glossy accents to the eyes, red Stickles to the Christmas tree, a sentiment and a gold star.
I’d like to enter this card into the following challenge:
Meow, meow. It’s cats theme today and my card has been stamped with a Whipper Snapper wooden block called Kitty Litter.
I coloured the image with Promarkers and stamped the paw print around the image. Added a sentiment and a couple of cat embellishments.

I love House Mouse stamps. They are all so cute. This stamp is called Butterfliers.
For my card I used Brusho’s to colour the image, a stencil around the edge of the card, and a few die cut wild flowers added.

It’s great to be back blogging. I especially like the Christmas challenges. Having an extra early start on Christmas cards is a great advantage and being given a theme keeps me focused.
For my card I used an old wooden stamp from Whipper Snapper called Santa, Horse and Pup. I coloured the image with Brusho’s.

This is one of my favourite stamps and one of my most popular cards at craft events. The wings are stamped on acetate and therefore pop up and move.
