Harley's 3rd Birthday

Just finished it. I had no idea what card to make for Harley, all my PB, House Mouse & Sugar Nellie's stamps just wouldn't be suitable for my little tearaway. So opted for a picture from the internet and I know he loves' 'Chuggington'. So here it is. I can't believe he is three already. It only seemed like yesterday when we were up for over 17hrs at the hospital waiting for the little devil to pop out! My word, don't we know we've got him now...bless...nanny loves him to bits.

Terry's Birthday Card

It's Terry's (my partner) birthday on Saturday. The same day as my grandson's, Harley, so a busy weekend coming up. I hope it doesn't snow. So anyway after my evening class I made Terry his card. Love this Penny Black stamp (mind you I love them all), especially the animal ones. It's a great general image as it suits male and female cards, of various ages. I glittered around the candles to give a bit of sparkle. I hope he likes it! Jeanette

Harley's Birthday Cake - Roary

I didn't plan to decorate Harley's cake this evening but Michelle is a little under weather so the next couple of evenings I shall be helping her out a bit. So very quickly had to finish the cake. To be honest it was a real rush job and have skipped on the finer details but I'm sure he will like it. Some how I'm going to have to make his card and Terry's my partner as they are on the same day. I guess I will have to do those late into the night tomorrow. Hope you like it. Jeanette

Son's Birthday Card

I have lots of birthdays this weekend. Here is one of them. It's my partners son's birthday on Friday and this is the card I made for him. The stamp came from Las Vegas and it's the first time I've used this one. I've coloured it with whisper pens and a water brush. Use glossy accents on his eyes, teeth and the pool balls. Bit of glitter on the bubbles. Added the word 'son' which I did with my Cuttlebug, used various backing papers from stash, then finished of with a few brads. Hope you like it. Jeanette

Fairy Wishes

I was supposed to be studying tonight but crafting got the better of me so here is one more post tonight just it case I don't make a posting tomorrow as I will have to double study instead....boring! I don't know who the maker of this stamp is but I bought it from Janette from 'Card and Chat' and it is a beautiful image. I've added some glitter to add a bit of sparkle. Hope you like it. Jeanette

My 2nd Penny Black Saturday Challenge

Well I'm going to have another go. I think I could get hook on this. If you want to have a go too click here. I've used 'Dressed Up'. One of my fav's as it is so versatile. I hope you like it. Jeanette

Sugar Nellie - Hamish Fixing Tractor

Here's a card I made today - such a cute image. It's a Sugar Nellie stamp called 'Hamish Fixing Tractor', and is coloured by Whisper pens and a water brush. I've started to invest in some Pro markers but not sure how I should be using them yet. (Still experimenting). The sentiment stamp is from Magenta, and I have added and little brass spanner/wrench. I have no idea about the background paper I'm afraid. Hope you like it. Jeanette

Baby Girl Concertina Book

This book I started before Christmas, I can't believe it's taking me so long to finish it. Simply not had the time, but getting back in the swing of things now. The front cover has wire word 'girl' from PM. Picked this up at a bargain price of .25p a couple of years ago and I think it is the last one now.......but who knows, I seem to find things buried or forget that I've got them!! I'm sure you know what I mean. Some of the inside pages are stamped which is from 'Anita's'. It does belong to Michelle, but we share everything, don't we Michelle!!Lol....she knows what I mean. Also stamped the titles Name,Date,Time, Weight & Length which people like to fill in and added a few embellishments from my stash. Hope you like it. Jeanette

Men's Birthday Card

Had a great day today - went to the panto at The Pavilions in Bournemouth with my little grandson Harley. It was Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs with Su Pollard and was hilarious. I think I may have enjoyed it more than Harley! So again not much time for a card but have done 'another' quickie but not for any one in particular. I really like this image. I shall be using this for 'Father's Day' cards - well you've got to think ahead!! Jeanette

It will be my little Niece's birthday later this month and not wanting to leave it too late I've got her card ready. She loves Dora and this image comes from a CD that I purchased from Ebay. I've decoupage it and added a big pink flower on it...like most little girls she loves pink. Hope you like it. Jeanette

First Card of The New Year

This is such a quickie card as I've only just returned from the shops picking up a few bargain Christmas stamps and birthday presents and didn't want to fail in not making a posting on the first day. Clearly I need to practise on my photography but I'm sure that this will come in time. I have many birthday cards to do this month so will post them as and when finished. Looking forward to a fresh start. Hope you like it. Jeanette

Pop back tomorrow and see if we've made that fresh start to 2010. Lol.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Well where has the time gone. Both myself and mum have been busy beavering away making books, cards, bags and getting ready for Christmas. We've also been doing lots of school Fayre's this year and mum doing Wimborne Market, that we haven't had the chance to update our blog. So I decided to have break from all the card making (yes still making my own cards for friends and family) and present wrapping to put some items we've been making over the last month.

We like to take this opportunity to say Thank You to everyone who visits our blog and to all our customers we've had at various events this year and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

What great socks

When mum went to Las Vegas back in September, she brought me home a gift. These socks. How cool are these! Scrapbooking Girl Socks. Never seen anything like this before so just had to share with you all. Thank You Mum. xxx

Flower Jute Bags

I made a bag recently like the one's above in the pinks and red for my nappy gift bag gift set and done a local Pre-school Christmas fayre where a lovely lady brought the bag own its own for a gift. This spurred me on to make some more like it. I'd had lots of lovely comments from people to say how lovely they were and I am now making them to sell on their own. But mum also loved them so much she asked me to make one for a friend of hers as a Christmas present. I also decided to make some for both mine and Blue's nan's for Christmas presents too. Here are the finished production of bags. I hope you like them. Michelle. xx

Harley's creative moments

Today Harley has had a very busy day. This morning Mummy, Nanny and Little Brother Lucas went and watch Harley in his first Nativity play at his pre-school. He done very well joining in with the singing and actions to the songs and sat beautifully. Mummy's very proud of you Harley. This afternoon we went to the "Big Tesco" as Harley says to buy some ingredients for our magical reindeer dust. We made some party bags for our local tots group we go to on a Tuesday afternoon, as its their Christmas party tomorrow. Our bags are made up of some magical reindeer dust and a Christmas shaped biscuit made by Harley this afternoon. We were lucky to get some lovely decorated bags from our friend Janette. Thank you Janette.

At the beginning of December myself and Harley started to get the Christmas spirit going in our house. We been busy making cards for the family. I won't show Harley's as it will spoil the surprise for nanny. But will put on at later date for you all to see. We've also been colouring Christmas pictures and have made window decorations. (This one is for you Vicky, take you back down memory lane) Harley painted a lovely Christmas tree and stuck lots of decoations he coloured and lots of glitter, whilst mummy painted a murual of Bob the Builder and Iggle Piggle (from in the night garden). We hope you like our creations. Harley and Michelle. xx

Christmas Cards

I have been busy beavering away making Christmas cards for the family and some friends last week. Alot I've had to post. Still got loads more to make and running out of time rapidly. The images are from several digital sets I brought earlier this year. And have loved making cards with these this year. Some of the papers are left over from last year and alot I've used from a garage sale. I'm addicted to using ribbon at the moment. They been making a lovely finishing touch to the cards I've made.

These cards I made for Blue's nan's. I used my nestabilities for these. The stickers are actually from an old craft magazine from last year. Found them whilst having a sort out. The papers and ribbon are from Janette's garage sale. I love these papers and I'm very pleased with how they turned out.

This card was for Blue's parents. I love these images that I brought ealier this year. I've used papers I got from a friend's garage sale (Janette). Hope you like. Michelle. xx
