Star Wars BB8 Cake

It's was my grandson birthday a couple of weeks ago and here is the cake I made him.
It wasn't hard to make. I covered the board in grey icing and painted the Death Star lights in white food colouring. I enjoyed that part the most. It's all eaten now. Got to think of something special for my granddaughter next.

Quirky Fairies

I made a few of these as a little experiment and kinda like them. Made by hand by me with my own template and perfect size to use up those bits of scrap papers, ribbon and diamonds etc

Vintage Cups and Saucers.

I've not stopped filling lots of cups and saucer with my little handmade paper flowers.
Here are couple more of my favourites, which I shall be taking to my little shelf down at the Quayside Emporium in Poole.
I hope you like them.

Vintage Cups and Saucers

I love searching for beautiful cups and saucers and making small paper flowers to fill them with. Here's a few that I managed to complete this week.
They make lovely gifts.

Back to making more!

First Attempts at Quilling

I met a lovely lady at a local craft fair, who gave me a bundle of quilling papers. I had daubbled a little many moons ago but nothing too adventurous.

I didn't want to make little animals or flowers but quite fancied making pictures, and so my first attempt was initials for my granddaughters, C & S. Here they are:

I was quite please with the results so though I would attempt a picture for myself and here it is:
What do you think. I loved making the home picture and it was very simple to create. Think I may do more. Have another project in mind so watch this space.
