A Wise Old Owl

Well this is not an old owl but my new 'owl' image from Dilly Bean that I chose. Isn't it cute. At first I wasn't sure how I would colour this image, it looked quite complicated but once I'd broken it down into sections it was a doddle.
I used Promarkers to colour and diecuts for the background and used Magic Flourish Die from Memory Box and used it to represnt a branch and added flowers and candi dots.
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
I Love Promarkers - Use Dies (Not Punches)
Creative Inspirations - Anything Goes - Plus option of Buttons
Bye for now

Prince Charming

My eldest son came home from school at the end of last week to say he has to dress up as a prince for his school play and end of topic fairy tale feast. I searched the Internet and shops but no luck. Harley showed me a photo of Prince William on his wedding day and said " mummy I want to be like that" So I had to get my very bad sewing hands out. I found an old shirt, took it up, adjusted sleeves and cut off collar. Added red felt and gold trimming to the collar and front of shirt. I also added red and and gold trimming to the shoulders and cuffs, along with some gold buttons. I found some wide red ribbon in my crafting stash and made it into a sash with a Union Jack badge. Here is my Prince Charming modelling his outfit.
My next project fresh home from school tonight is a pirates outfit for after half term ( a little easier)
Hope you like, Michelle xx

Happy Birthday Dear CRAFT Challenge
Happy Birthday To Us!

Can you believe it? CRAFT Challenge is already 4 years old. Originally started by Tracy from Just Tracy Crafts and with a DT mostly recruited from Trimcraft forum members (Hence the term CRAFT Challenge, which stood for Crafters Residing Are Friendly Trimmies. Or if you wished alternative meaning of Can't Remember A Flipping Thing) on the 4th of May 2009.

We have now grown to be a large team of Design Team Members from all around the world, supplemented with lots of Guest Designers who join us for a month at a time.

Michelle's Birthday

It was Michelle's birthday on Saturday and we all went out down to the beach and then on for something to eat in a restaurant.
I made her a quick birthday cake, more for the boys really but I think she liked it. She used to collect Piggin' Pigs, so that explains why the cake is a pig in case you were wondering.

Bye for now
