This is the first chance I've had to post my card which I made for my partner. He loves birds.....of the feathered kind so this image was perfect for him. This was a freebie from Pink Gem which was coloured with Promarkers. The sequins came with some handmade paper that I bought which I glued around the edges. Added some snowflakes and Candi Dots.
I'm entering this card in to the following challenges:

Here is my project for this week:
I've created a concertina photo book and used an image from Pink Gem called 'Baby Girl In Pram'. So cute. I've used Promarkers to colour the image and inside the book used embellishments and matching paper and card.
I'm entering this project into the following challenge: Winter Wonderland - New Beginnings
Well are you all ready for Christmas?!?!? Well I am, just the final last minute food shop and then we are there.
This week our challenge at C.R.A.F.T. is Winter and here are our sponsors this week. Sponsor 1: Meljen's Designs
This week I have chosen to use an image from Meljens Designes called Eskimo Kisses. This card was especially ordered and I had to slightly change the spelling of 'Husband' to 'Hubsand'! One of those private jokes but this is the beauty of card making to to able personalise a card.
Here is is:
I used Promarkers to colour, added a swirl from Memory Box called Elegant Scrollwork, snowflakes, ribbon, two brads and paper from stash.
The background is material and the butterfly cut from a Die is also a sort of material with a vinyl feel to it. The image that I've used this week is from Bugaboo which is called Jackobean Block 6. It's really great as you can re-size this to suit your card and makes a fab background.
Now I've not posted very much lately and if you're wondering what I've been up too then see below!!
Yes all of my time has been spent making Christmas trees and Snowmen out of old unwanted books!
For my card I used an image from Hope Jacare called Wedding Cake which I lightly coloured the flowers on the image with Promakers and added a little glitter.
I kept it all simple as I love the detailing on this image.
Hope you like it
Happy Halloween everybody. Here is this years pumpkin. These are becoming a ritual in our house now. The boys always look forward to having a pumpkin carved. This year I took on the challenge of doing a VW campervan after seeing it on pintrest. Blue added to the challenge, buying me a monster pumpkin. Its huge and very heavy. The boys have enjoyed crafting and baking Halloween bits. They made lots of cakes and enjoyed making ghosts from milk cartons.
The best bit of the day was taking the boys to Upton Country Park to enter their pumpkin competition and winning 1st prize in the competition. Was not expecting to win, but took part for a bit of fun with the boys. Was very funny as it took the boys half an hour to realise they came 1st out of all the pumpkins there, even though they'd got a prize and had photos taken.
Hope you like. Michelle xx
I've used an image from Meljens Designs called Cozy Little Chickadees. Isn't it cute.
I've coloured the image with Promarkers, used die cut snowflakes, couple of pearls, and a little bow and bell.
I'm entering this card into the following challenges: ABC Christmas - U - Up To You Cupcake Craft Challenge - Two's Company CHNC - Snowflakes
Bye for now
At Harleys school tomorrow, they are having a 'Bake Off' to raise money. All the children had to design a cake. Here is Harley's design:
Mum's or nan's have to make the cake to the nearest they can to the design. So nanny took on the task! Harleys instructions were, green, yellow and orange smarties on the top (I had to eat the rest), must be chocolate sponge and chocolate cream, which it is but I gave it a layer of sugar paste so it can be transported easier and less chance of little fingers pinching the cream. Here's the end result:
Here we are again with a few more projects completed, this time knitting! I've got to get all these projects finished as I have got a 'new' project on the go and that is making Tillie-Belle her own little 'Forever Friends' rug. Poor little mite may have to share the bedroom with the two monkey grandsons so we want to give the room a little splash of pink! Here are the completed knitted projects:
