Cute Card Thursday - Sketch

It's sketch time over at Cute Card Thursday and it's been sometime since I've followed a sketch and also I have not stamped an image on this card, so I hope it's acceptable. All the elements for this card has come from my stash. The Christmas boot was either candy or a challenge I had won and I really quite like it, perfect for the girlie's.
Sorry about the quality of the photo, I should have taken the picture in daylight.
Hope you like it.

I Love Promarkers - Anything Goes

Over at I Love Promarkers the theme this week is Anything Goes which basically mean you're spoilt for choice! Hmm so what should I do for this one and I decided to stick with the Forever Friends Cosy Christmas Collections as I was in the mood for colouring.I tried putting little dots on the blue scarf to make it look like it had been knitted. I think it works. Add a couple of snowflakes with gems in the centre, MS border and a little piece of organza ribbon to given it a bit of sky feeling.
Hope you like it

Sarah Hurley Challenge - Buttons

So hopping around this afternoon I came across Sarah Hurley Challenge and the theme is buttons. This year I've made lots of cards with a button Christmas tree so I thought it may suit the theme nicely!
I've cut a triangle shape for the main tree and covered it with some strips of pages from an old book and then used Mod Podge to give glitter and to seal it. Then I had fun adding the buttons. Cut a length of card for the trunk, added a star and there you have it!
Hope you like it.

Christmas Is Coming

Over at Forever Friends Challenge the theme is Christmas Is Coming - and all too quick for my liking!
This image is from the Cosy Christmas selection...aww. I coloured with Promarkers and used flower soft for the hat and glamour dust of the edge of the gloves. Added a star, gem and TH swirl in gold glitter card.
Hope you like it.

Oh Christmas Tree!

Well I've been busy making more Christmas tree books and couldn't resist entering this one into a few challenges I found whilst blog hopping. Again, I'm not sure they qualify, but hey ho I'll give it a try.
So the christmas tree is made from an old unwanted book which I have given it a coat of Mod Podge sparkle but the photo doesn't show it but it's brilliant stuff and can't stop using it. Add some blue gems and black ribbon. The image if a free download from Pollycrafts. Isn't he great. I've coloured him with Promarkers. I'm entering this project into the following challenges:
Pollycrafts Challenge - Christmas Fun
Cards For Men (although I know it not a card) - Fancy Folds
MAWTT - Ribbons & Bows
Fussy & Fancy Friday - Anything But A Card
Hope you like it.

Buttons Buttons Everywhere

Evening - I've managed to get a card done for a few challenges tonight before the mad rush of bagging up cards for Sunday's craft fair. For my card I found buried in the bottom of a drawer a stamp with lots of buttons which I used as a border and double layered and glittered some of them. I then used a large button and turned it into a little bird. I've used TH distress ink - worn lipstick for stamping. I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Paper Play Challenges - Button Up
Simons Says Stamp Challenge - Buttons
Dream Valley Challenge - Anything Goes
