Less Is More

Less Is More - This is one of Michelle's favourite sayings and I wish I could manage that on a card but some how I just get carried away, so tonight, after our return from the 'wedding rehearsals' I thought I would unwind and chillax by making a card for Less is More 'one layer card & embossing'. I'm not sure about this card at all. It's been forever since I used my embossing gun, in fact I forgot where I had stored it................yes right at the back of the cupboard, it even had that 'dust burning' smell when I switch it on. I've done a little dry embossing around the sides but not sure that can been seen by the photo. Anyway I dunno, I'll keep trying. Jeanette

Quick Added Note:

So it seems I forgot to give you the info on the items used, in my rush to get to bed as I was so kna....... tired chasing after my two grandsons around the church last night!!

Okay the image is from Impress Obsession and called Single Daisy Print, the sentiment is also a stamp but there is no makers name on it but I know it is part of a box set (no box!!). The centre of the flower I just coloured with Promarker pen and used some glossy accents. And that's it. Hope that helps. Jeanette

  1. This is lovely Jeanette, but I'd love some more info... what make is the stamp, is the sentiment a stamp or is it computer generated and what medium did you use to make the centre of the flower appear on top of the embossing?
    Super CAS style.
Thanks so much for joining us and we hope to see you again next time.

  2. I love this card. Michelle is right. It is nice to have a fairly clean, clear card. This is one of my favourites that you have made. Very nice. Hope the wedding rehearsal went well.

You wil hopefully become more comfortable wiht CAS style. It would have worked without the embossed lines...scary space huh? lol

  5. Lovely card and such an elegant image. We all want to know who's image it is too! My theory is the middle of the flower is glitter or micro beads.....
