House Mouse - Aperture

Now I love the House Mouse images and this year bought quite a few sets but still not used them all. At House Mouse Challenge the theme is Aperture. I very rarely use aperture cards these days but as part of a brilliant present my dear friend bought me was some aperture cards which I simply had to use and so this was a the perfect challenge. I've used Promarker to colour the images. Hope you like it. Jeanette

Thank You Card

With Christmas sadly over oh so soon, I'm looking forward to the birth of my next grandchild (hopefully tomorrow) and a brand new year. I've been busy this week making all my birthday cards for family and friends and I'm about half way now, but thought I'd take a break and enter a few challenges. The theme at the following challenges is 'Thank You'.

2 Sisters Challenge - Christmas

Squeezed another quick challenge. This time the image is from Fourth Dimension and I must admit I bought this one about three years ago and finally used it this year, but I was very disappointed with it's clarity and not sure I will use it again. I've coloured with Promarkers and used white flower soft for the the top of the boots, cuffs, edge of hats and pom poms to try and hide the horrible black splodges. I'm entering this card into 2 Sisters Challenge where the theme is Christmas

Anything Goes - For Many Challenges

Well it's one of my best friend's birthday today and this is the card I've made for her. She lives in a lovely farm house with loads and loads of land so thought this card would suit well. This is a PB image which I've coloured with Promarkers. Having blogged around a bit this evening found a few challenges that I could enter it into, and they are:
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
I Love Promarkers - Anything Goes
Crafty Catz Weekly - Your Choice - I chose Challenge 45 - Animals
Moving Along With The Times - Anything Goes (No Christmas)
I hope you like it. Jeanette

Gingerbread House

Had my final day off work today before Christmas so I decided to make a gingerbread house for my grandsons. I've not made one before and found it great fun. Not like decorating a cake at all, just stick all the sides together with royal icing and just had sweets, chocs & biscuits any where you like. Good thing is any bits left over you can eat!!! Hope you like it. Jeanette

Gift Angel

This is what I've was working on early today (by the way, it's raining now!). This little image is by Stampendous and is called Gift Angel. I've coloured her with Promarkers, used stickles on her wings, white flower soft to her hat and snow writer to the base of the image. Papers are by DCWV Rose Tinted Christmas and MS border punch. Isn't she cute all wrapped up. I'm entering this card in to Flutterby Wednesday Challenge and A Spoon Full of Sugar. Hope you like it. Jeanette

Snow Snow Snow and Even More Snow In Dorset

Well what happened! We were supposed to be travelling up towards the Heathrow area today.........I don't think so. Slight change of plans and of course I didn't want to waste my day off from work so I built a snowman, well I think it is really a snow-woman judging by her hair.
Great that leaves me sometime to make some more cards. Hopefully there will be a posting later. Bye for now. Jeanette

Pear Tree Designs - Christmas Card

One of my favourite blogs is Pear Tree Designs and their last challenge of the year is Christmas and I didn't want to miss it. So with so much snow about again (arrggghh) I thought this image was suitable. I've made this card for my youngest grandson who is a cheeky little 2 year old. The image is from Whipper Snapper which I coloured with Promarkers and used stickles to his hat and glossy accents to his feet and beak. Hope you like it.

I Love Promarkers - Santa

I'm trying to fit a couple of challenges in before the Christmas hols and here is one I did for my lovely Grandson. This is for the challenge over at I Love Promarkers. The image is from Penny Black and of course I've used Promarkers to colour with. Used some Stickles on Santa's beard for an added sparkle. Used Snow Writer for a snow affect and glossy accents on Santa & the reindeer's nose. I hear the snow is on it's way back....bbbrrrrr I don't like it!!

Christmas Card With A Difference

Evening, a very late posting but wanted to show you this 3D Christmas Tree made from an old book which I've change into a Christmas card. I saw these Christmas trees sometime ago but then had an idea that if I only folded half the book the other half could be a card or a Christmas ornament (if you see what I mean) and here is is. I'm going to enter this into three challenges. They are:
ABC Christmas Challenge - Y for Yuletide
Dutch Dare Card Challenge - Card, Tag or Ornament
Alphabet Challenge - F for Foliage

Penny Black Challenge - Monochromatic Christmas

Hello just a quick posting as my son and his family are coming down from Milton Keynes this evening (told him not too with this weather being so bad) so wont have much time for crafting this evening or for the rest of the weekend. I'm going to do early Christmas with them on Sunday as we will not be able to see them over the hols.
So this is my entry for the Penny Black Challenge. I love this cute image and have kept the card fairly simple. I hope you like it. Jeanette

Moving Along With The Times Challenge

Here's another one - I'm really going for it tonight! At Moving Along With The Times the challenge is For Someone Special and I've made this card. I really like the fact that it is mostly white and may experiment a bit more with this. I've added some snow effect and glamour dust to give it dimension and a little razzle dazzle. Hope you like it. Jeanette

I Love Promarkers Challenge - Christmas Trees

Now I know I've posted this image before but I do think it's very cute, so here it is again. I'm entering this into I love Promarkers challenge which is 'Christmas Trees'

Hope you like it. Jeanette

Pear Tree Designs Challenge with a Twist

Well this evenings event was cancelled because of the snow. Now there's no surprise there then!! Lovely to look at, nightmare to drive in, it's just not my cup of tea. But not wanting to be a kill joy I did have a snowball fight earlier today with my niece and nephews who ganged up on me!!!
So one more craft fair to go and so tonight I found a bit of time to make a few cards and thought I would enter a couple of challenges, and here is the first. At Pear Tree Design Challenge there is a sketch to following and the twist is to include some gems so here is mine.
