Happy Halloween

Been enjoying lots of fun today with my boys doing Halloween activities. Harley loves cooking at mo and he baked some pumpkin biscuits to take to nanny and grandad Terry this evening. We made some lanterns, dressed up and carved our pumpkin. I just had to put it on here to show you all as I'm rather pleased the way it turned out. Can you guess who it is??? Chelle

Cheeky Frog Card

Finally, this the second of three frog stamps bought from ebay sometime ago. Jeanette

Football Card

Found an old decoupage sheet and this 'goal' stamp and thought I'd try them out together.Hmmm not sure, I'll keep experimenting I think.

Bob the Builder

I'm taking my grandson Harley to the BIC in Bournemouth tomorrow to see Bob the Builder, so inspired by that thought I made this card. Hope you like it.

Nephew's Birthday

Here's a quick card I made for my nephew Ben who's birthday it is on Thursday. He got a set of drums earlier this year and loves them. Hope you like it.

Elvis 'The King of Rock 'n' Roll'

Just a quickie card tonight. I just could not go to 'The Vegas' shop and not buy an Elvis stamp - so here it is. There were so many to choose from but this one I thought was a typical pose. I've stamped the back ground with some of the Inkadinkadoo Rock Star clear stamps. Hope you like it. Jeanette

18th Birthday

Blue's brother has turned 18 today. I made him a card using Mikey designs from charmed cards and crafts. I like this one as you can use it for many different cards. I used some papermania papers and my sizzix numbers die I brought sometime ago in the sale at a bargain price. Hope you like. Chelle x

Baby Book - Boy

Tried the 'baby' template book again. I've figured that I can get the whole book out of two pieces of A4 card. Glue was an issue with the first book as I like using double sided tape which is not a good idea with this book, and hey presto found that the craft mount adhesive spray is the best option and so much quicker, although it is better to spray outside as it is very fumy. I've used my Zutter binding tool this time and I think I prefer it. Hope you like it. Jeanette

'BABY' Word Book - Girl

At last I've finally finished this latest project. It's taken me a few evenings on and off decorating this. It's not difficult to make just time consuming and I'm not really sure if I've finished yet. But I'm quite please with it so far and the next one will hopefully be better. Hope you like it. Jeanette

Guitar Hero

Can you believe it, as if I haven't bought enough stamped, I just had to buy this one. It's from Inkadinkado and is a set of 9 clear stamps and it's brilliant. I can think of so many people I who would love this image. You also get in the set the wording 'Rock Star', 'You Rock' set of drums, a border of scull & bones and other bits 'n' bobs. Great for any 'Guitar Hero's'!! Jeanette

Helicopter Stamped Image

Yes another image from Vegas, but how unusual is this one. Not seen anything like it before. Thought the men might like this one. The backing paper I bought from Hobbycraft ages ago, and is it is supposed to be a high from up. I thought it to be appropriate although a little pink in places. Jeanette

New Dog Image

Here is another stamp that I brought back from Vegas. I like this image, it doesn't really need much colouring, although I'm not sure what breed of dog he is .....Boxer...Bulldog....? not sure, anyway I love the way he is standing, giving a sense of strength and power. Let me know if you know what breed of dog this is. Jeanette

Aeroplane Card

Here is another image from Crafters Companion 'Men's Collection'. Backing sheet from Janette, and used my nesties for the circles and to back the aircraft. Nothing to do with my recent trip...honest. (yawn, yawn, yawn!). Jeanette

Game of Cards

Here is a card which I must say is slightly influence by my recent trip (yes I'm still going on and on about it). The cards, chips and dice are decoupaged and is printed from the Crafters Companion 'Men's Collection'. Hope you like it. Jeanette

Christmas Books

Well not only have I been busy making books for my bags but also been thinking about Christmas. Here are some books I've made. I've loved making these as the papers are so beautiful. Hope you like. Chelle x

Girls Books

Here are some girls books I've been working on. Got a few more in my craft room waiting to be finished off. All the papers I've used are from Janette who I met and lives just down the road from me and a lady I met with mum at a table top sale some time ago now where she was selling some of her stock. All of their papers were so lovely I just couldn't resist.

Boys Books

Well its been a very long time since I've done a bit of blogging. I have been very busy getting a mountain of books made up for my nappy bags. Here are a few examples of boys books I have made. Hope you like them. Chelle x

Ghostly Card

After the scary skeleton card I thought I would make a bit more of a cutie 'Halloween' card. Again another stamp from Las Vegas which is a very simple outline but very sweet. I stamped the ghost image onto 300gsm white card and made a little spring out of thin wire and attached it to the back of him so he moves about. Hope you like it. Jeanette

Great Friends Together

I have terrible withdrawal symptoms tonight, as it was two weeks ago my friend and I was so excited about catching our flight the next day to go to Las Vegas. But hey I've already started saving again!! Had to go the the horrible dentist today, but thank goodness all was okay this time.

Here is another stamp that I bought in Las Vegas. This is for my friend Gloria who I don't see enough of. We worked together for 3 years a long time ago and we had such good fun.

Hope you like it. Jeanette

Skeleton Biker

Well I've been blog hopping tonight, catching up on what's happening out there. I've seen some really great Halloween cards, all so very cute, so I thought I'd go to the other end of the scale and try out my new stamp from Viva Las Vegastamp. This biker is a bit scary but I think it would be great as a birthday card for those 'serious' bikers out there. I haven't coloured the image as I didn't feel that it needed it. The background paper is a free download from 'Made About Cards' and I've just added a couple of embellishments. This is the first of the stamps I bought from VLV and hope to add some more later in the week. Hope you like it. Jeanette

Viva Las Vegas!!

We are back...sadly the time went too quickly, but what fun we had. We managed to find the stamping shop. It was just a short ride from the Sahara Hotel in a cab. I bought 51 stamps but would have loved to have bought more. There were so many great designs it was very hard to choose. My friend Linda was very good sorting out the unmounted stamps for me whilst I walked around, although I know she wasn't quite excited as me as she is not a stamper but she enjoyed the music that was being played at the time. Here are some photo's of us. I can't wait to go back again.
